Porcelain Tile is a unique type of ceramic tile, fired at extreme temperatures, making them much stronger than ordinary ceramic tiles and even harder than granite. Also, because of their higher density, porcelain tiles are less likely to absorb moisture (0. 5%) which makes them more durable and more resistant to staining.
