Bamboo Flooring is similar in appearance to hardwood but is even more, durable in terms of scuffing, wear and expansion. The bamboo is rapid growing grass and harvested in plantations that take only 3-5 years to reach. Although still not widely used, it is perhaps the most efficient unlike for most wood which take fifteen to twenty five years. This makes bamboo an environmentally friendly product.

Bamboo floors are not technically made of wood. Though they are harder than most hardwoods, often grown in China and other regions of Asia, these hollow shoots are cut down, sliced into strips, and then laminated together to look like traditional wooden plants.

Bamboo flooring:

  • Bamboo has a higher fiber rating than any hard wood, which gives it exceptional hard wearing qualities.
  • Maintenance for Bamboo Flooring is no different than for other pre-finished wood floor products – frequent sweeping or vacuuming, spray cleaners, and occasionally mopping.
  • Bamboo Flooring is not as flimsy as it seems, in fact it is harder, stronger, more versatile, eco-friendly, longer-lasting, and more dimensionally stable than oak or maple. The expansion and contraction rate of Bamboo Flooring is also much lesser than that of hardwoods.
  • Excellent and attractive alternative to laminate or hard wood flooring.
  • Bamboo Flooring is an excellent investment for your home or workplace, bamboo is naturally very durable, has a warmth and beauty, strong and resistant to moisture making it an ideal material and desirable for flooring for residential and commercial hardwood flooring but excessive moisture can damage your bamboo flooring.
  • Bamboo Flooring is a highly renewable resource and is a great alternative to traditional wood floors.
  • Sustainability has become a driving force in commercial design. Bamboo gives the lustrous presence brought to a room by a natural flooring product that is as hard as nails, stylish, and truly eco friendly.

Bamboo Flooring is becoming one of the leading flooring surfaces available today. From its wide adaptability and durability to its cost effectiveness, bamboo has something to offer everyone.

If you need for studio space, whether it is for watercolors or yoga, Bamboo Flooring will enhance the peace and beauty of the room while providing you with a strong, smooth surface to work in.
